What Makes Falcon Different?

1. American Made
At Falcon we're proud to make our rods in the U.S.A. We believe it's important to keep manufacturing jobs in America. But equally important, domestic production and quality control is the only way to provide you with the highest possible quality and reliability. Some of the components are imported, like the guides and reel seat, because there is no American-made alternative. We make our own blanks and build the finished rod in our American factory.

2. We're obsessed with quality.
At each step of production, a Falcon rod is checked for quality. The finished product is then carefully inspected and flex tested-twice-before it is shipped to your Falcon dealer. Any rod that fails inspection is repaired or destroyed. There are no "B" quality Falcons. Most companies would not engage is such an expensive labor intensive practice. But it's the only way we can assure you the highest quality. It may also explain why we have a reputation as the toughest most reliable rod you can buy.

3. We're fishermen and we know what works.
We design each Falcon rod with a particular way of fishing in mind. Some of our rods are highly specialized like the Clark Wendlandt Weightless Worm Special or our Coastal Topwater rod. Others are suitable for a wider range of techniques like our original FC-5-166, "Herm." The point is every rod is designed to fish. They're not just the same rods in different lengths. Each rod has a distinct feel and action. Sometimes we go through several designs before we get it right. It involves a lot of testing on the water, but that's the price to be paid.

4. We care.
We're proud of the rods we produce, and we hope you are proud to own them. Any time you have a question, concern, or comment, please call us. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service.
